Welcome to our P1/2/3 Webpage!

 

Welcome to our P1/2/3 webpage.  This year we welcomed 8 new Primary 1 friends and 1 new Primary 2 into our class, taking our total to 22.

Our teachers are Mrs Duffy (Mon-Wed, Thurs am) & Mrs Styles (Thurs pm & Fri).  We are also lucky to have some help in class throughout the week from Miss Melville and Mrs Summers, and have music once a week with Mrs Jardine.

In P1/2/3 we exercise our Right to Play (Article 31) and spend much of our day learning through play, allowing our learners the chance to practise skills such as creativity, language and problem solving, try out new ideas and consolidate their learning in a fun and relaxed way.  

This term we explore 'Scotland Creates' as our whole school learning context. We will be finding out about what makes Scotland so special, what is made in Scotland and trying our hand at weaving and fashion design, culminating in a whole school fashion show at the end of term. We can't wait to get started!
