P5/6/7

As the oldest class in the school, P5/6/7 take on many leadership rolls in the school such as, running Penguin Parliament, being P1 Buddies and organising our fabulous Leadership Groups.

All our learners have leadership roles within the school.  This year our leadership groups are garden leaders, F.P.S. (Forgandenny Primary School) news leaders, reading leaders and drawing leaders.  In our leadership roles, we take responsibility for running lunchtime clubs, keeping everyone up to date on school issues, and supporting younger members of our school to make a difference to their community.

This year there are 22 learners in P5/6/7.  Our teachers are Mrs Binnie (Mon, Tues & Wed PM,) and Mrs Styles (Wed AM, Thurs & Fri).  We also have support from Miss Melville and Mrs Summers for reading, small group work and some extra help in class throughout the week.

On a Tuesday and Friday, we love the Mrs Warren takes us for PE which is often outside in Forgandenny Park or using the sports facilities at Strathallan School.  We also have the opportunity to have music with Mrs Jardine on a Friday afternoon and guitars with Mr Bailey on a Tuesday afternoon.

Our whole school context for learning this term will be World War 2. Watch this space!
